I have successfully revitalized, repositioned, and turned around over a dozen hotels and organizations in diverse markets and economic conditions.

This journey has sharpened my interpersonal skills and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. My leadership journey began in the Danish military, where I learned discipline, resilience, and the belief that people—including myself—can achieve more than they think possible. Since then, I’ve led teams from boutique operations to complex organizations with up to 1,500 people, always balancing strategy with humanity.

For me, leadership is a choice—a responsibility to guide with purpose, inspire action, and create environments where people grow. It’s not just about managing outcomes; it’s about unlocking potential, fostering trust, and shaping cultures where accountability drives performance and collaboration fuels innovation.

Beyond brands, I’ve worked in bustling cities, remote resorts, thriving markets, and emerging destinations, adapting strategies to vastly different business landscapes.

Twelve relocations across four continents have been a constant evolution—each step adding new layers of expertise, cultural depth, and human insight. With every move, I’ve gained new perspectives—not just from brand philosophies, but from the market conditions, cultures, local talent, and shifting industry landscapes that continue to redefine hospitality. Experiencing firsthand how markets evolve, how people shape businesses, and how strategy must continuously adapt has reinforced my ability to assess businesses holistically, integrate seamlessly, and craft solutions that are both resilient and forward-focused.
